I had always looked forward to having a courtship that is fun, lovingly enthralling and yet godly!

And yes! My courtship was one of the best seasons in my entire life.

It was a time of love and fun, joy and prayer, knowing and planning, blushing and hoping that the day would come quickly.

I wanted to know more about Christian courtship so I went online to search for books. Alas, there were limited or no books!

People who have written about courtship are so few, talk less of people that have written about CHRISTIAN Courtship!

I then hoped that at church, at the marriage counseling, we would be given some very meaty books that would guide us. Well, we were only given a sheet of paper that contained some topics to guide our discussions. Ugh! I was kinda disappointed as that was my last hope.

I couldn’t find a guide to completely trust- that which upholds my desire to have a courtship that is fun yet, radiating godliness. We followed the ‘sheet’ the church gave us, adding some meat to make ours kinda weightier.

After my wedding, I got a number of mails from some people asking me to recommend books for them on courtship. All my efforts to get good books that I could recommend proved abortive.

A while after the barrage of requests, I got the confirmation from the Holy Spirit that it was time to write courageously on the topic that has been scarcely written about.

And you know what?

I came up with five different volumes and a workbook! Haha
