HELLOOOOO!

 

WHAT HAS DE-RACONTEUR BEEN UP TO, RIGHT? Hahaha…I am so sorry.

 

Oh my! I don’t think it would be stale to say ‘Happy New Year’ to you darling readers.

 

And well, coincidentally, it’s a new month and you know you know what? It’s gonna be an awemazing (Awesome+amazing) month for me. What about you?

 

Now, the thing is, I am really sorry for ‘neglecting’ this space, kindly forgive me. Thanks to those who still pant so much for de-raconteur stories. You are loved. Thanks for the mails and shares. Even up until yesterday, someone still sent me a screenshot of the ‘Candle in the Wind’ shared in a WhatsApp group (Download the free e-book here) And I have been seeing ‘The Tale of a Sorrowful Mother’ (Read up here) everywhere. Also, Google analytics and the recent comments show that ‘The Devil’s Proposal’ is the reigning read on my blog. (Start from Episode 1 here) THANK YOU!

 

The good news is- I AM BACK!!! I am not talking about the ‘I’m back’ that will still ‘relapse’ into something else o…Hahaha…even Satan sef knows that there’s no stopping me.

 

Well, has it been Satan stopping me all these while? Nay! I want to give you the gist of things that have been up with me since my last post on this blog.

 

So, in December 2018 when I released the last episode of ‘SmallVille College’ I GOT ARRESTED!

 

Oh my!…Hmmmm…Don’t be too shocked anyways. It is well.

 

Who arrested me?- LOVE!

 

HAHAHAHAHA….Sorry for the short suspense.

 

You know, this sister love nah…hehe… She bit me deep in the neck, I got intoxicated by her and I just started flowing with her tide. The impact is still in here till today.

 

Immediately I walked into love (I don’t like to say ‘fall in love’ you get?), I decided to give myself to my lover and really learn the tactics and strategies of being a real lover. Erm…actually, this guy I am telling you about is my first love, well, asides my Lord and my writings…hehe. In the human form, as per love love, He is my first. So, I had to just ‘drop’ everything for some time, get to know and love him deeply.

 

At a time, he asked me ‘Treasure, it’s been a while you wrote online’ and I was stabbed across my heart ‘You are the cause!’ I pushed the blame…hehehe…Well, I realized that love is so huge a job that when you are in it, all you want to do is keep drinking from it, leaving everything else aside. Hahahaha…Love is sweet! Erm…. maybe I should write it more appropriately. Godly love is sweeeeet!

 

We had a fully concentrated courtship for a while and it was an amazing time. People say ‘Marry your best friend’ and yes, I did! Hahaha…We didn’t know each other from time but when we met, we clicked, it was as if we had known each other for ages! He, who was a stranger became closer to me than those who had been with me for years. When God is at the helm of affairs, leave it to Him, He will make you bond, so don’t go, look for your best friend and lock his/her collar saying he/she must marry you…Hahaha…That is not what ‘Marry your best friend’ means. I will be telling you what it means elaborately soon. Watch out!

 

So, during our courtship which lasted some months, we prayed, got to know each other well, laughed, visited families, we went to a lot of places and so on. I must tell you that even in our courtship, we kept seeing the Hand of the Lord bringing us together. I will also tell you that story soon.

 

It was during this period, we had the second edition of De-Raconteur Writers’ Course and over thirty-seven students registered. To cut the long story short, 10th and 11^th of May 2019 witnessed the coming together of Michael Nosano Yakubu and I. Oh wow! That simply means that from now on, De-raconteur herself isn’t Lizzy Oyebola Oyekunle again but Lizzy Oyebola Yakubu. Awwnnnn… (I’m shy!)

 

I want to give all the glory to the Lord for His wonderful works in us. Since we got married, it has been amazing. We have learnt so many lessons. God has really been faithful. Because of this fact, we now have a FAMILY BLOG dedicated to the wonderful course of the building of Godly homes on earth. This blog promises a whole lot of things and I am so excited as I type this. It is for singles and married, young and old alike. YOU WILL LOVE IT because I will be as real as God allows with you! And did I tell you? I have a new name- Mrs. Yaks…Hahaha.

 

 

 

 

 

So, apart from the new blog which will be unveiled soon, a new vlog (Youtube channel) is under construction! Yippeee. I have so many interesting episodes on ground already. I will soon start dishing them out hot. Hehe…You know, I subscribe to so many channels that aren’t even Christ-centered and I love what they do, little did I know that the Lord only wanted me to have a feel of what He wants my family to do via that medium. That is just one amazing job I have assigned myself to now, my people and you will love it! So, watch out for that too.

 

Then, there is this wonderful story that will be running on de-raconteur.com from September to October! It is nothing compared to what you have read anywhere. It is titled ‘PRESSURES’. The Lord specially crafted that story for YOU and you’ve got to watch out!

 

Then, I decided to release one of my stories for free. Erm…yeah! You are not paying a dime for it. And I must tell you that it is one of my best stories in this life. Whaaaat! CANDLE IN THE WIND is now out as a FREE E-book! You can download here.

 

Another thing is a pamphlet that I just designed for teenagers and young single adults! It screams ‘Sexual purity’ and all I would want you to do when it gets to your hand is read, be blessed and SHARE till it reaches the souls God wants it to reach. That is ‘YOU ARE FASTING’. Yes!
